We are excited to invite you to an upcoming Continuing Legal Education (CLE) seminar on a timely and crucial topic: The Impact of AI on Lawyer Competence.

As artificial intelligence continues to shape how our clients work and how we work, it raises important questions about professional competence and ethical obligations under Rule 1.1 of the Model Rules of Professional Conduct. This CLE will explore lawyers’ obligations when it comes to understanding and advising on AI technologies under our duty to provide competent representation to clients.

The OSB Tech Law Section will be seeking 1 Ethics Credit just in time for the reporting period!

Key Topics Covered:

  • Duty of lawyer competence
  • Regulatory frameworks around AI
  • AI-related legislation tracking
  • Preparing clients and practice
