DESCRIPTION:Powerpoint presentation 2020 Privacy Law Update_ The Impact of the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) \n— \nThis interactive roundtable discussion will review the state of privacy compliance and explore the impact of the CCPA rollout and the lingering impact of GDPR. \nXavier Clark\, Associate at Schwabe\, Williamson & Wyatt. Xavier focuses on privacy\, security and commercial contracting to help clients understand and comply with obligations for proper handling and use of data in day-to-day business operations. He advises on best practices and obligations under information privacy laws\, including preparing privacy policies for websites and mobile applications\, as well as advising clients on matters relating to cloud storage and other commonly used technologies in their websites. Xavier holds CIPP/US and CIPP/E. \nAmanda Gratchner is a privacy attorney at IdeaLegal\, a boutique business\, privacy and intellectual property firm in Portland. She has been practicing in the area of data protection and privacy for over 15 years and counsels clients on the creation and development of global privacy compliance programs including the development of policies\, procedures and training\, and drafting and negotiating privacy and security and technology related agreements.  Amanda earned her law degree from Lewis & Clark Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University of California at Los Angeles.  She holds both CIPP/E (Europe) and CIPP/US (United States) certifications. \nAndrew Migliore is the VP of Engineering and Security Officer at RADAR (https://www.radarfirst/com) designing and building secure SaaS and enterprise applications centered around a patented legal engine that automates the decisioning and notification process related to global data breach laws.
